Companies House ID Verification – Coming Autumn 2025

You might’ve seen the recent email from Companies House about new ID verification requirements coming into force in Autumn 2025.

Autumn? That magical season that starts with sunscreen and ends with snow boots. Technically, it runs from 21st September to 20th December – which is quite the window when you’re a small business and trying to plan.

It’s hard to prepare for a deadline that could land anywhere between your last BBQ and your first mince pie. So while we wait for a real date, just know that changes are definitely coming – and they’ll affect directors, PSCs, and anyone setting up a company.

Stay tuned, stay verified (eventually), and maybe pencil in the entire pumpkin spice season… just to be safe.
